Cancellation & Refund Policy

 

 

Generally no refund of fee is permitted on account of absence from Academy or any other reasons, once a candidate is admitted to the program. However, refund claim may be admitted on merits after due consideration of the request.

 

Application fees / Registration fees / Assessment fees will not be refunded under any circumstances.

 

 

In case the candidate has paid the entire program fees as a lump-sum before the start of the program itself, the refund will be calculated as follows:

  • If withdrawn before start of program, then fees paid by the learner, will be refunded after the deduction of processing fee of Rs.1,000/- (Rupees one thousand only), irrespective of full-time or part-time program.
  • If withdrawn at any time within 15 calendar days from the date of commencement of the program
    • Full-time program - The fees paid by the learner will be refunded after the deduction of administrative charges of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees fifteen thousand only)
    • Part-time program - The fees paid by the learner will be refunded after the deduction of administrative charges of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only). 
  • Fees will not be refunded if withdrawn after 15 calendar days from the date of commencement of program under any circumstance.

***The following terms of refund are applicable to fees paid on instalment basis.

 

 

Refund of 1st instalment of fees:

  • If withdrawn before start of program, then the 1st instalment fees paid by the learner, will be refunded after the deduction of a processing fee of Rs.1,000/- (Rupees one thousand only),  for both full-time and part-time program. 
  • If withdrawn at any time within 15 calendar days from the date of commencement of the program
    • Full-time program - The 1st instalment of fees paid by the learner will be refunded after the deduction of administrative charges of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees fifteen thousand only)
    • Part-time program - The 1st instalment of fees paid by the learner will be refunded after the deduction of administrative charges of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only).
    • Fees will not be refunded if withdrawn after 15 days from the date of commencement of program under any circumstance.

Refund of 2nd instalment and 3rd instalment of fees:

For both full-time and part-time program, the 2nd and 3rd instalment of fees, will not be refunded under any circumstance.

 

Procedure of refund:

 

  • For refund, applicant needs to apply online to the Academy on the prescribed portal or provide a hand written application for refund as per the prescribed form
  • Student shall submit cancelled cheque copy of the bank account to which refund has to be processed and details of fees remitted along with the form
  • Refund will be made only after the applicant has surrendered the original ID card (if already issued), and any other document as required by the Academy at the time of refund
  • Refund, if any, will be made through the bank transfer only
  • Transaction fees charged would not be refunded/ reversed for any refund or reversal of any transaction, in case of cancellation of admission or withdrawal from the program, under any circumstances
  • Any amount, if refunded, will be in Indian Currency only
  • In case, the applicant has availed any educational loan facility, then the fee refund will be made through the bank transfer in the favour of the sanctioning bank, unless the applicant submit the NOC from the Bank to get the refund in his own/ parent/ guardian favour
  • All the applications for refund of program fee will be processed within minimum 10-15 workings days from the date of receiving the refund application subject to the above conditions of refund and any other necessary approvals.

Other Notes:

  • All learners are admitted provisionally till they deposit the prescribed admission fees and other certificates as applicable and mentioned in the provisional admission letter
  • In case any learner does not comply with any of the above conditions within the stipulated time, the Academy shall have the right to cancel his/her admission
  • While calculating the refund, if there are any dues in any account of the learner, the same will be adjusted first and then the balance amount will be refunded to the learner
  • No interest is payable on any fee deposited with the Academy, also including refundable amount, if any
  • The Academy reserves the right to modify and amend refunds policies
  • All disputes are subject to the legal jurisdiction of Bangalore Courts only
  • Any other refund request not falling under the above situations, will be handled at the discretion of an empowered committee.
